Summer Holidays in Italy - 3/3: Hidden Beach in Tuscany

Going to Puglia is a very long trip from the Czech Republic. Thus we spent only one week in Gallipoli and its surroundings and the other week we travelled to Tuscany to get closer to our home.

Even though the beaches in Tuscany are hardly so amazing as in Puglia, we fall in love with the beach in Parco Regionale della Maremma. The entrance fee (paid per hour) is quite high but it is the only option of nice beach if you do not want to spend the whole day on the crowded public beach in Marina di Grosseto.

We drove to Alberese and then we followed the signs of beach. When we parked, we walked about 45 minutes to get to our "private beach". Take enough drinks and food since there is nothing on the beach (except wooden chalets).

It is not necessary to walk so far. You can land closer to the parking place but we wanted to have the beach for ourselves. The further you go the less people you meet.

Another tip... Come in the morning because the parking space is limited and they control the number of cars. They do not let you drive inside when the parking place is full. Or you can take a public bus to get to the beach.
